The HKU Body Donation Day 2024 was held on March 3rd (Sunday). The theme for this year was "Life & Beyond – A Gift to All". Through activities and lectures, we shared information on life and death education with the public. Additionally, we invited the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department's Green Burial and the Department of Health's Organ Donation Programmes to set up booths at the event. The activities included guided tours of the anatomy lab, experiences with virtual reality technology (VR, AR) to understand human anatomy, lectures on embalming procedures, and sharing sessions by teachers, students, and family members. This year, we introduced a tabletop game workshop on end-of-life planning, which received significant support. We sincerely thank everyone for their support towards The HKU Body Donation Programme!
