Huge amount of respect

The first thought that came to my mind during the dissection practical was the huge amount of respect I pay towards the great Body Teachers. It is the most selfless action for them to donate their bodies to us clueless medical students to learn and experiment on. They have done everything they can to contribute to the medical field. As a medical student, the best I can do to show my respect and gratitude is to be prepared for each session and try my best to protect their bodies during dissections. I would make sure to learn from each session to make their donations meaningful.
Looking into an actual human body, I realised that the structures are way more complicated than what's illustrated in text books. This also reflects the importance of these sessions, giving us the opportunity to learn “hands on”, which will be very useful for future practices.
