Year 1 Medical Student (2026)
Dissecting a real person is a very different experience from reading materials or illustrations of the anatomy. I felt a quiet weight of responsibility which made me handle the tissues more carefully and appreciate the privilege of learning from someone’s final gift. Although a bit overwhelming, I am even more humbled and grateful for this learning opportunity.
