Year 1 Medical Student (2026)
From this practical, I was able to observe human body structures, such as blood vessels, connective tissues, and also the layers of the human body from the skin to subcutaneous tissue and fascia. Holding the scalpel for the first time, I was able to experience for the first time what it meant to be a medical student. I also observed from the Great Body Teacher what their previous life experiences and difficulties they may have faced in terms of their health, and made me reflect that in medicine we should also be concerned about the mind, the life of each patient and that there are more aspects to consider other than the physical health. Overall, this experience has helped me understand anatomy more, as the 3D structures help consolidate my memory, and I would like to thank every Great Body Teacher for their sacrifice more medical students to learn anatomy.
